Following Save the Date, I was granted permission to spend 24 hours or less in each of the seven strangers’ homes.

I cooked the stranger’s favorite meal and ate half of it, and left the remainder with a note in their fridge. I explored their personal effects, and absorbed and mixed with the energy of their space and belongings. I slept in their bed, wearing a shirt from their dirty laundry. Feigned connection. Projection. The scent a lover leaves on the pillows.
