Tribute — Kathryn Cornelius

Following a series of accidents and injuries in the fall of 2018 to the spring of 2019 that ultimately led to my hospitalization and “phoenix-rising” move from NYC to the South West desert, I made the decision to close Whole Human Consulting and, eventually, its spin-off coaching, healing, and workshops & events “sister company,” Whole Human Alchemy.

The ride was wild.

Of course it was.

Founding my second consultancy, and my first full-time, was the most expansive and contractive experience I could ever imagine. What started as a “fool’s leap journey” in late 2017 when I said to myself it was time to try my hand at full-time solopreneurship “before I turn 40,” led me through profound internal shifts in consciousness, healing, and growth.

I created offerings and experiences through the lens of business that I didn’t have the opportunity to materialize while working for my previous employers. Like the interdisciplinary artist that I am, I was able to offer a kind of consulting, teaching, and coaching experience that weaved together seemingly disparate methods, tools, and perspectives, into a unique blend of “how” that reflected my deep commitment to being of service in the world in the most transformative way I possibly can.

The greatest gift was the opportunity to meet, share, create, and collaborate with so many diverse, beautiful, whole humans. And together, bring to life ideas and ideals that had actual, material impact — for individual lives and organizations.

As I chart my path ahead, my compass is still pointed to my True North: to be an embodied, heart-centered leader that invites people and organizations out of their comfort zone, to shift and evolve the paradigm of how we live, work, and love, and to envision and enact their highest expression for the good of all. I am deeply grateful for all on this journey with me — past, present, and future.
