Kathryn Cornelius

I am honored to be asked by The Hirshhorn to discuss the latest Directions exhibition, Empire³. Warhol's work has been an influence on my own art practice, as well as my academic work (including a 2004 PCA/ACA annual conference presentation on Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, and Takashi Murakami). I am excited to discuss his film Empire, as well as Douglas Gordon's Bootleg (Empire) and Wolfgang Staehle's Empire 24/7.
