Location: The Artscape Festival in Baltimore, MD

Description: As a part of the outdoor sculpture exhibition, I rented a dunk tank and filled it with 200 gallons of whole milk. Throughout the duration of the three-day festival, I heckled the crowd to try to dunk me, three chances for a dollar. Participants were allowed to stand however close to the target as they wished.
Instead of enjoying the spectacle of a bikini-clad female in a dunk tank, each dunk soiled my physical appearance with curdled milk and the smell became repulsive, thereby dismantling the traditional alienation of artist and audience.
